Description Specific Locomotive History Built for the Ministry of Supply in July 1945 and delivered as number ‘73790’ with works number 25636. The locomotive’s first British Railways allocation was to March shed. While here the locomotive was renumbered ‘90766’ during 1948. On 9th July 1949 an allocation to 66B Motherwell came followed by a reallocation to 65F Grangemouth on 17th January 1959 where the locomotive remained until withdrawal. From here the engine was moved to Campbells in Shieldhall for scrapping.
